I go here regularly, and once you've been coming a while, it gets easier to order and get what you like. Specificity is a must, and it's somewhat irritating. Over easy defaults to a half cooked yolk, sunny side up is almost fried, and poached is a medium poach. The first few times it can be frustrating, but after you get the hang of them, it's perfect every time. Food is fresh and delicious, and with an emphasis on organic and healthier food, it's a great breakfast joint.

Highly recommend the avocado toast! The staff is charming and does that little something extra to make your brunching experience memorable. Food is always on point! They do not take reservations but you can download the First Watch app and add your name to the waiting list. Very helpful if you plan on going on the weekends!

First time to a First Watch and it will not be my last! The cornbread carnitas were Amazing! I think that was a special, but I’d say it should be a permanent feature! Very friendly staff, nice ambiance with a little coffeehouse level chatter, fast service, just good all the way around. Lots of options for vegetarian, gluten free, and other “healthy” lifestyles if that is what you are into ;-)

Well when you order eggs and they come out cold it's not a good sign unfortunately for me I don't ever send food back and have it returned you never know what's going to be in it not saying this company does that.. fresh washed used to be a pretty good company when I first moved to Kansas City many years ago

I have really enjoyed my experience the few times that I've eaten at First Watch. The restaurant offers great tasting and often quite healthy food at a reasonable price. They provide a great environment and friendly/helpful customer service. I'd highly recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a place to grab breakfast, and will likely make this a regular stop for myself on weekend mornings.
